We hope everyone had a great Lunar New Year celebration and break! It was refreshing to meet everyone in a festive mood again. Like us, you probably were finding ways to occupy yourself over the long weekend, here are some new things and activities that the team was into during this time!
Rare Honey Company

It is the cold and flu season, and no doubt with the festive eating, many of us are feeling a little weighty in the tummy. Thankfully, we found relief in this delicious golden liquid from The Rare Honey Company. If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, they’re a locally run business specialising in sustainably sourced honey from Western Australia. It is truly a respite from all the “sinful” things we’ve been consuming and has even helped one of us kick away the caffeine addiction! How you may ask? We don’t know! But it is a delight to us to indulge ourselves in a cup often and the beautiful packaging it comes with is just like the cherry on top!

Board and Card Games
Of course, the Lunar New Year will involve a little bit of poker and several rounds of mahjong. But this year, we welcome a refreshing change – board and card games! Some mind-bending favourites are Avalon or Saboteur that had dominated our gatherings and brought a fresh twist to the usual gaming activities! If you’re also one for the fun, browse new games for your next gathering here.
HydroDash

We took the chance during the long weekend to visit Hydrodash at Sentosa. It was a fun hour for us to immerse ourselves in all sorts of obstacles to test our physical limits. We would totally consider it as a “workout” after all the steamboat sessions we’ve had!

Cycling Trials
We are kidding, this is the REAL workout for the endless steamboat sessions! We’ve been into cycling as well and we love how there are so many scenic and adventurous routes to check out on our island. Here are some of the best cycling routes in Singapore if you’re also interested, and it also is an excuse for a trip to Decathlon! ;P
Infusing Nature into Wedding Designs
With travel and destination weddings still a far-off dream before they become an option again, we’ve been looking into how the feelings derived from travelling can be executed through wedding design – think “vastness”, “tranquillity” and “adventure”. We love the idea of infusing nature as a key element, so these have totally caught our hearts! Discover designers on our directory here!
How have you been spending the past festive month? As we move into a new lunar year, we hope for abundance of joy, health and wealth for all our readers! Here’s to an Oxpicious 2021!
